On a walkabout one evening I spotted a small bookstall manned by a Pakistani labourer, I went over to investigate as usually these places have gems hidden away in a dark corner of a bookshelf. Lo and behold, jammed in between two books I found this slim but beautifully calligraphed edition of the burda from Syria. The date of publication is 1993. Salawatu Rabbi ala Sahib Wajh al-Munir.
